This Sunday, August 31st, I will be speaking at the Fort Ticonderoga Author Series about The Traitor’s Wife, Benedict Arnold, and the role that this storied fort has played over the centuries.
Nestled in between Lake George and Lake Champlain, with the Adirondack State Park and Green Mountains as its backdrop, Fort Ticonderoga is a picturesque spot seeped in American history. Plus, it’s a location with special significance in the history of Benedict Arnold!
Fort Ticonderoga’s 2014 Author Series continues on Sunday, August 31, with Allison Pataki, author of The Traitor’s Wife, a historical fiction novel set in Revolutionary-era America. The program takes place at 2 pm in the Deborah Clarke Mars Education Center and is followed by a book signing in the Museum Store at 3 pm. The program is included in the cost of admission; members of the Friends of Fort Ticonderoga and Ticonderoga Ambassador Pass holders are admitted at no cost.
If you’re in the area, come say hello. For more information on Fort Ticonderoga and their author series, click here.
