It never gets old — seeing ‘The Accidental Empress’ & ‘Sisi’ translated and published in foreign languages! I am so unbelievably grateful to the subsidiary & foreign rights teams at Simon & Schuster and Random House for working so tirelessly to publish this book in so many different and wonderful places — I believe we are at 12 foreign languages and counting.
It’s just wild, and I pinch myself each time Sisi travels to a new country. Particularly fascinating is to see how marketing varies in each place, and how the cover evolves to suit and attract each new audience. Here is the most recent iteration — Latvian. Who knew my name was Elisone in Latvia?! So fun.
