Jessica Simpson and Carolina Herrera Share Allison Pataki’s Passion for Empress Sisi!

Check this out! I am so giddy to hear a certain newsy tidbit about Jessica Simpson’s wedding weekend. The star, when working with iconic designer Carolina Herrera, used Empress Elisabeth “Sisi” of Austro-Hungary as the inspiration for her wedding gown!

Here’s the video of them discussing the iconic empress.

Jessica and Carolina — I could not agree with you more. Sisi was an enchanting woman and a fashion icon to boot.

I can’t wait to tell her story with my novel The Accidental Empress, to be released this coming February. And don’t worry, there will be plenty of discussion of her fabulous and famous fashion get-ups!

But for now, it’s back to the edits so that Sisi is ready for all of you in just a few months.
