“Former Gov. George Pataki threw a book party for his daughter Allison’s new book, “Sisi: Empress on Her Own,” co-hosted by friends Harvey Weinsteinand Ambassador Earle Mack at the Waverly Inn on Monday.

It’s Allison’s third historical fiction novel — her first two landed on the Times’ best-sellers list.

A well-heeled group packed the Waverly’s back garden — including the governor’s wife (and author’s mom), Libby, Weinstein’s wife, designer Georgina Chapman, fellow author Erika Robuck, and the omnipresent Peggy Siegal.” Read more…
